Vice Minister Qu Dongyu meets his Romanian counterpart

Vice Minister Qu Dongyu met Mr. Dumitru Daniel Botănoiu, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania, in Beijing on Oct. 21, 2015. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral agricultural cooperation and other issues of mutual interests.
Vice Minister Qu noted that China-Romania traditional friendship has been deepening since the establishment of diplomatic ties 66 years ago. To further the bilateral agricultural cooperation in the future, Qu put forward the following suggestions: (1) give full play to the bilateral and multi-lateral cooperation mechanisms to promote the development of agricultural S&T in both countries; (2) take measures to further bilateral cooperation in agricultural investment; and (3) promote steady development in agricultural trade.
Mr. Botănoiu fully agreed with Mr. Qu on his suggestions. He stated that Romania is willing to work with China to further strengthen agricultural cooperation.
